Dear ARPH,
I would love to help, but cannot take another dog right now. I have an easy-going lively yet laid back 10 yr old Aussie, and a smart highly energetic (3rd) ARPH 8 yr old, who’s a bit of an alarmist.
My work schedule is part-time and flexible, which means I could travel – probably weekends because that’s when my husband can care for our dogs.
So far, at 69 yrs. old, I have a brain for staying organized, love Excel, and am good with maps and with people.
What can I do for you?
With warmth, Phyllis Humez

Hi,
Please reach out to ARPH via the website http://www.arphinc.com/
You do not have to foster to be a rep and depending on your NE region you can pick your area(s) so that you arenโt driving farther than you feel comfortable with.
I will help however I can. We used to do a lot of transport but it either dropped off or we got lost in the system. We have two Aussies, one very barky and oh-so-sweet female and one enthusiastic bull-in-a-china-shop, male. Ages 6 and 5 respectively. Iโve had herding dogs for as long as I can remember, starting with Border Collies. Weโve herded sheep together, lots of obedience classes and competed in agility trials throughout the years.

Thank you for your interest in helping to save Aussies! I too have 2 Aussies. A 12.5 year old red tri who is sweet but loud and a bull in a China shop 2 year old red merle. Wouldnโt have it any other way!! ๐ฅฐ
I’m looking to adopt but it doesn’t seem like many young/puppy come around! I have a treeing dog (puppy) and kids so I was hoping I could get one young enough to socialize and train. Any advice? I follow the 4 main aussie rescues and check petfinder daily. Thanks!
Hi, ARPH is a rescue and not a breeding facility so puppies are rare. Often times dogs end up with us when their owners cannot take care of them any longer due to health or financial reasons. Puppies do sometimes come along, but that is rare. If you can open your heart to an older dog Iโm sure you will find one that you can love. It my take time to find the right fit. Good luck!
