Meet Semper, ARPH #14343! This 10 years young black tri is neutered and up to date on vaccinations and preventatives. Semper lost his home when his owner retired, had to move, and wasn’t able to care for him anymore. He is crate-trained, although he’s not fond of it, but he doesn’t need it. He is housebroken and LOVES his toys and playing fetch! He’ll drop a toy or ball into the dishwasher when his foster mom tries to load it. Semper loves his foster dad and tolerates the family children, but a home without children would be best. He would be okay with another dog but doesn’t need a canine companion; in fact, he’d probably prefer to have all the attention to himself. Given Semper’s age and possible joint issues, a supplement would help him be more comfortable. He’s not a fan of car rides and will whine, but he was very good at the vet’s. Semper is reserved with strangers and will bark at them, all the while wagging his nubby. Once he warms up, he’s fine, but he’d probably appreciate a home without too many visitors.. No electric or invisible fencing, please. His previous owner said he was good with cats; he doesn’t pay much attention to them. Semper’s great personality will make him a wonderful companion for someone who has a quiet home and a good throwing arm! He is fostered near Douglassville, PA. If already approved contact Kay.
